Modeling and characterization of radio wave propagation in microcellular environment

New efficient and fast path loss prediction technique was developed using virtual source principle [1,4]. Ray-based wideband propagation modeling for both line-of-sight (LOS) and non-LOS accounting for direction of arrival was performed [3,5,6-8]. This included characterization and development of new wide band propagation model for city street microcell [6]. Propagation control techniques for city street microcell were introduced [2].
