In the beginning of the test a few first samples should be considered as training samples during which testee should accustom to the test procedure and the samples that will be played during the actual test. Answers given using these samples should be ignored.
In the actual test the testee will listen the samples and answer as instructed until the samples run out.
When sample A starts to play, the bar above the button A changes its colour to blue. Both buttons are still disabled (grayed).
After sample A is played system stays in the idle state until sample B starts to play. Now the bar above the button B changes its colour to blue. Both buttons are still disabled (grayed).
This prosedure may be repeated one or more times and after that testee is allowed to give his/hers answer. This is indicated by changing the bars over both buttons to green and enabling the buttons. Now the testee can answer to the question stated in the test instructions. If there is no answering time limitations this state stays until either of the two buttons is pressed (clicked).
After a given warn time system will change the colour of the bars to yellow. This indicates that aswering time is running out.
When the answering time is out and no answer is given, the colour of the bars chages to red for a moment. After this the system is idle again until next samples start to play. Answer can not be given until next pair of samples has been played.
After all samples have been played and the last answer is given or answering time for the last question has run out, window containing buttons and bars disappears. Test is then over.
