Location:
3 km from the town centre, just below is the Ounasvaara Ski Centre. Ski
trails and
ski slopes just outside the hotel. Lapland Sports Institute 1 km, beach
2.5 km, main
road 1.5 km.
Accommodation:
58 rooms and 11 holiday apartments. 47 of them with their own sauna. In
all rooms and suites an extra bed may be added. All rooms with shower/WC, some rooms
with bath. One suite without sauna. The rooms and holiday apartments are spacious
and furnished with light shades. The newer rooms were built in 1989. Hotel
and rooms were renovated in 1997. Rooms for non smokers and those with allergies,
also available.
Amenities:
TV, telephone, minibar, hair dryer, sunblinds, tea/coffee maker. 82 plug-in
car heaters. Baby cot free.
Public areas:
Saunas. A large auditorium for 110 persons, 5 smaller meeting rooms areas
with AV equipment. The Panorama restaurant has an open fireplace, seats 300 persons.
A terrace with a panoramic view which is used in winter as a "snow bar",
a nice lobby bar next to the reception.

hut for meals and special occasions. Reception open 24 hours, safe available. Banks
and post offices in town centre 3 km. Airport 10 km, railway station 4.5 km.
The nearest bus stop less than a kilometre away at the Santa Claus Sports Institute.
Daily transfer service for all week hotel guests to town centre. Good opportunities
for sport and other outdoor activities near the hotel. Ski hire and skiing instruction.
