Here is initial information about the oral and poster presentations in DAFx-08.
Oral presentations will be held in the lecture hall S1 of the TKK Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Automation. The street address is Otakaari 5 A, Espoo. The lecture hall is located in the A wing, right next to the main entrance of the building, see map.
Please check from the DAFx-08 program when your presentation is scheduled.
The presentations are 15 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes of questions, discussion, and change of speaker. We have standard equipment (such as a video projector and stereo sound system) available. Please let us know soon, by August 18 latest, if you require technical equipment beyond this standard set, and we will do our best to provide it.
Poster presentations will take place in the lobby in front of the lecture hall S1 of the TKK Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Automation. The street address is Otakaari 5 A, Espoo. The poster area is located in the A wing, right next to the main entrance of the building, see map.
Posters will be mounted by the Authors during the morning coffee break between 10:40 - 11:00 AM. Please check when your poster will be presented from the DAFx-08 program.
Authors are invited to prepare posters in A0 format, whose dimensions are 84.1 cm X 111.89 cm (33.1 X 46.884 inches), in landscape or portrait mode. Electricity will be provided for possible demos at the posters. To avoid disturbing the other posters, please bring headphones for audio demos.
Poster sessions are within the lunch break 12:00 - 2:30 PM. We recommend the Authors to have a quick lunch and be around their posters between about 12:30 - 2:30 PM.
